The solitaire, a ring set with a single diamond, remains the engagement ring par excellence. Buying a pre-owned solitaire means choosing a stone already cut and set, often in an antique or signed mount, for a price well below new. We only work with natural diamonds, never synthetic ones.
On each page you will find the diamond's weight in carats, the metal of the mount and the finger size. A laboratory certificate can be issued on request. You can also book an appointment to see it in one of our two jewellery shops in the centre of Bordeaux.
To compare two solitaires, look at the diamond's weight, but also its cut (round brilliant, princess, oval, old cut), its colour and clarity when stated, and the mount: four or six claws, white gold, yellow gold or platinum. A claw setting lets more light through; a bezel setting protects the stone better day to day.
